There is more than one artist with this name:

1) Angelo is a japanese rock band consisting of キリト(Kirito, Pierrot) on vocals, Karyu (D’espairsRay, joined the band in 2011) on guitar, ギル (VIDOLL/ヴィドール, joined the band in 2011) on guitar, KOHTA (Pierrot) on bass and TAKEO (Pierrot) on drums.

2) Angel Luis Garcia, Jr, known simply as “Angelo” - was born March 28, 1976 in Brooklyn, New York. Angelo started his career when he was only ten years old, his family had moved from New York to Puerto Rico in 1988, they heard about auditions for a new member of the world famous teen group Menudo. Once Angelo arrived to his audition and started to sing he was immediately signed and became the youngest member to ever join Menudo. At the time he barely spoke Spanish.

Within days of joining Menudo he was hustled into the studio and recorded the lead vocals for “You Got Potential”. Less than two weeks after joining he was flown to New York City with band mates to film the music video for “You Got Potential”. The unknown Angelo became a international teen idol overnight. Menudo’s hit single “You got potential” went straight to the top of the music charts throughout the world.

In what became a huge international scandal Angelo unannounced broke his contract with Menudo. Angelo immediately signed a world wide recording contract that included management with World Wide Entertainment Company under the direction of music executive Darrin McGillis.

yeah except karyu composed a lot of the songs on babel. i know old comment is old, but kirito is hardly selfish. the guitars in babel showcase both karyu and giru's talent. it sounds NOTHING like pierrot's heaven album. are we even listening to the same thing...

I honestly liked Angelo better before Karyu and Giru joined, tbh. I mean Karyu's my favorite guitarist and all, but I don't know what exactly went off course for me. Maybe it will just get some getting used to, because I do like TOWER OF BABEL.

For some reason, TOWER OF BABEL is my favourite on the whole album. I don't know why it is, but it's... so unusual and I can't stop myself from hitting the repeat button. I love FEATHER, 霧雨頬を濡らして, and PLOSIVE too though.

Wait, what? When was Kirito's voice the worst part about Pierrot? I love his vocals. They're unique. He has this emotive bite to his voice that either gets under your skin in a wonderful way or grates on your nerves. He's a truly talented musician and I wish people would, particularly D'espairsRay fans, would stop bashing him. He's a damn sight better than 90% of the newcomers in visual kei anyway.

I am rechecking these guys out because of Karyu (last thing I have by them is from 2006). It sure as hell is an improvement, but it just still isn't anything great. I think half of it is I just can't find any reason to think Kirito's voice sounds good...it just...doesn't. It was the worst part about Pierrot, and I am going to say the same thing about Angelo as well.

kinda like it. it comes with more intense than el dorado, his voice sounds better, stronger more like in ceremony or something. is it just me or is this PV made in the same fucked up building like Squall from D'espairsRay? i womder if this songs going to be harder live...karyu rocks so much though this song is rather soft. can't tell that mch about angelo's style yet, but i think karyu was at least meddling with the process of writing this song. it comes more fast in a more dynamic way i haven't heard or maybe not noticed yet in angelo'ssongs
