So let me get this straight... Everything kind of went downhill after Wires? I haven't listened to any of their stuff since Wires and want to know if it's worth even bothering.

thanks, man. I see this all the time. Some of the layers in the music disappears with only 1 guitarist in this kinda music

Important in this kinda music: 2 guitarists. When a band loses one of them and don't replace him bad stuff happens. Example: this band (and many others)

no one's mad just of the fact that they "changed their sound", it is the fact that Rise has less memorable parts/moments than for example Wires. But it's all just opinions ofcourse.

i thoroughly enjoy rise atm, Identity wqas awesome when it first came out, and is still catchy but i like rise alot has great lyrics, just because a band changes doesnt mean its bad in their case, i think there still mad good even though there sound has changed, whereas a band like linkin park, changed but in a really bad way
