櫻井敦司 (櫻井敦司/Sakurai Atsushi) vocalist and lyricist for the Japanese rock (J-Rock)/Visual Kei band BUCK-TICK since early 1985. He was Born in Fujioka, Gunma prefecture on March 7th 1966.
BUCK-TICK and Atsushi Sakurai are considered to be a few of the founding fathers of the Japanese music genre/style movement “Visual Kei”. Their groundbreaking landmark live concert performance “Climax Together ‘92” created a new standard within the Japanese music industry, and continues to influence artists style and performances to this day.
