As one of the most important hardcore punk bands of the past 15 or so years, the announcement of American Nightmare's reformation in 2011 was met with no shortage of fanfare. Despite being forced to change their name to Give Up The Ghost due to a legal battle in 2003, the band went on to gain a cult following the release of their debut full-length Background Music. Later came the more experimental We're Down Til We're Underground but nonetheless, the band's status in hardcore circles never dwindled. Sadly, it didn't stop them disbanding in 2004.
However, after triumphant reunion shows in 2011 in New York, the band will finally be sending UK kids stage-diving all over the place once again and Last.fm are right behind it. The original show of April 29th sold-out straight away, so the band have added an additional date on April 30th at the Tufnell Park Dome.
