Live music is officially back in action and what better way to kick off festival season than by starting at Austin City Limits, the C3 Presents event hosted at “The Live Music Capital of the World."

Last.fm photographer Steve Galli reports back highlights from Austin, Texas, covering well over 100 sets with mostly different acts per weekend. The sold-out music festival offered a stacked lineup across back-to-back weekends, with headliners such as Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Duran Duran, George Strait, Tyler, The Creator, Megan Thee Stallion, Machine Gun Kelly, Greta Van Fleet, Finneas, Modest Mouse and Jon Batiste across eight stages.

Notable moments from weekend one included an appearance by Miley Cyrus during Megan Thee Stallion's set where twerking ensued. During Cyrus' own set, the pop singer kicked off with “We Can't Stop" and followed with songs that dug deep into her archive. She also went on to cover Blondie, Janis Joplin and Nancy Sinatra. George Strait did a 33-song set, including a 4-song encore, which included Tom Petty's “You Wreck Me."

Highlights from weekend two consisted of Machine Gun Kelly hanging upside-down from a high scaffolding during his performance, as well as a special set from Jon Batiste that was exclusive to that last weekend. The crowd grew to nearly 10,000 throughout Batiste's energized performance.
