Haven't listened to it yet, and not sure if I will anytime soon. Spore was a "bore", in my opinion. Mines is still holding me over Menomena-wise. Also, the old Ramona Falls hasn't really stuck apart from a few songs. Too nice. HAve you listened to Purity Ring? You might like them

Nice summary, my man. You inspired me to re-evaluate the Zammuto album. I still don't quite dig it as much as the last few Books albums, but I definitely have a new appreciation for it.

the books are amazing, really. i saw them live once and it felt like a school recital in the best way, like they had to convince us of what they were doing. honest, which is cool. a band, like zammuto, that, to me, sounds different and like a new thing. i saw you listening to borads of canada. take this in when you're feeling conquer:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByVAule7BkA

hahaha all the songs have bad titles and they all start off pretty bad but it just sounds so good at points. harlequin is so real. i was really immersed at one point. wary about the ramona falls 'lbum though,, i miss menomena

How are you feeling that Zammuto album? I like it well enough, but it mostly just makes me miss The Books.

Say, man... Do you know what's happening with the MetaCricket forums? I haven't been able to log-in for months, and it seems crob3888 hates me for some reason.

awesome, awesome. i'm about to go through a lot of life changes - somehow i'm getting married and buying a house this year... scary stuff. oh well. spoon is awesome. i've been doing this slightly weird listening habit in the last few weeks... listening to stuff alphabetically. so before spoon there was radiohead, queens of the stone age, phoenix, okkervil river, neko case, and so on... the things i do to keep myself interested during slow work days :)
