It's like postmodernism. Unsatisfied what regular modern approaches bring, it's about the exploration, the experimentation, the automatism of what makes up the, you could say, core essence of life. Simply music made when you completely honest about yourself and everything around you. No apathetic lethargy, no lethargic apathy, simply individual self-awareness through expression. I'd say there would be a bit of essences of existentialism, in the way of understanding your self. Maybe Zen, maybe surrealism, maybe paganism, simply cultures that love love and individual freedom.
