Jungle
Jungle Music is a style of electronic dance music that grew from Hardcore Breakbeat and its precursor Acid House in the UK around 1992 with heavy influences from Ragga, Reggae and Hip-Hop. Running at around 160 to 170bpm, its dominant feature is a heavy bass and complex, chopped up and recycled breakbeats. Jungle is just old school drum and bass, there isn't THAT much of a difference. It's like comparing today's reggae with reggae from the 70's for example. They both sound different but they are really the same stuff with a modern makeover and some just like a more old school sound. But I do agree that Pendulum should get out of drum and bass altogether because they already sold out to the extreme just like the artist Infected Mushroom. I think those 2 artists altogether should go into the record books for biggest musical sell-outs of all time.
