Garage punk

Garage punk is a blanket term for all kinds of garage rock and punk bands from the 60’s onwards. Not as simple as a fusion of 60’s garage rock and late 70’s punk rock, it incorporates everything from black rhythm’n’blues to 80’s power pop into a generally minimal rock sound that relies on spontaneity over instrumental ability.
