There also was a Norwegian band called Wake. It was the first band of famous Jan Kenneth Barkved (1974-2009; ex-Elusive, The Morendoes).

if i remember correctly, their side of the skagos split was recorded in a hurry before the drummer left town. the demo is a much better representation of their sound, but all the copies are sold out. i think there's a couple songs on their myspace though

The Cascadian black metal band had a lot of promise. Most of the songs on the split with Skagos are pretty sloppy. Not bad, but just sloppy sounding, and quite raucous. The last song on their side, however, is effing phenomenal. Epic and bleak and amazing. Never heard their demo, but now I really want to.
