This is a like light version of Spock's Beard and Dream Theater with a touch of hard rock and jazz.

This song (among others) is evidence why Procul Harum should be mentioned as one of the pioneers of progressive rock.

Marillion (old and new), Dream Theatre, LTE yeah. But Transatlantic is all the worst elements of old style prog (ie your Dad's twaddling guitar and keyboard crap) that could possibly come together - I don't get it. Some elements are good but no - not for me at all. I've given it a few listens and dwelt on it. I'm with Weird Steve on this. Sorry guys!

I love this song, but why when I play my Dream Theater radio does this song play within the first 4 songs EVERY TIME?

In the Darkness of the night...What a rip off. Procol Harum original has more atmosphere to it.

I don't think that this is pointless, but I don't know the original. I can't believe that it is better than this. I have to listen. It's from Procol Harum? Never heart of them.
