Coheed & Cambria is a progressive rock band, formed in Nyack, New York, United States in 1995 under the name Shabutie, but in 2001 changed the name to Coheed and Cambria.
The current lineup consists of Claudio Sanchez (vocals, guitars), Travis Stever (guitars), Michael Todd (bass), and Chris Pennie (drums). Former members include Jon Carleo (bass, left in 1996), Nate Kelley (drums, left in 2001), and Josh Eppard (drums, left in 2006).
Coheed and Cambria’s albums are concept albums, revealing the plot of a storyline called “The Amory Wars”, written by lead singer Claudio Sanchez. To date, the band has released four studio albums, two live albums, and various special-edition releases, with their latest release being “Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World For Tomorrow in 2007”.
In 2006, long-time members Michael Todd and Josh Eppard left the band for non-creative differences. Chris Pennie, the drummer from The Dillinger Escape Plan replaced Eppard on drums; however, due to contractual obligations, Pennie could not participate in the recording of Coheed’s 2007 album, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume II: No World For Tomorrow. Instead, Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters filled this role while Pennie toured with the band. Pennie is now a permanent member. In 2007 Michael Todd returned to the band.

I will completely agree that Welcome Home has way too many plays. It's kind of sad that their first album has so few. Devil in Jersey City and Everything Evil. Both those songs are epic. But do they get played. No.

I've read the first book of the Amory Wars. It's a good concept and wonderfully ambitioys, but it feels a little rushed at the begining perhaps? It seems this is a band with a bit of a 'cult' following eh... Didn't even realise the song is on Rock Band, then again I tend to stick to a real guitar.
