there was a time i was listening to this every fucking day over and over. Although my music taste have changed it still remains the best fucking thing ive ever heard. It simply pierces through me in a strange way, full of sadness and misery. Pure genius

I've never been a Huge Tool fan but I got this album when it came out and played it for the next 6 years. None of their other albums come anywhere near this one for me. Absolute classic

This album needs to be listened a lot of times to be fully understood. Yet when you know it well, you won't leave home without it in your iPod.

I don't know if it's their best album, but it has such great tunes. Eulogy, H., 46&2, Jimmy, Third Eye. The interludes are interludes, if you mind them just skip. And come on, Intermission is great!

I don't consider this prog. I consider this psychedelic grunge with stomping rhythms.

Too many interludes. And the songs may be quite good, but almost all of them revolve around one groove or baseline that is repeated over and over again. For me, Lateralus has much more variation, as wel as 10000days. I can keep on listening to those albums. [2]

Because I'm praying for rain And I'm praying for tidal waves I want to see the ground give way I want to watch it all go down Mom, please flush it all away I want to see it go right in and down I want to watch it go right in Watch you flush it all away

"If you don't believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a favor: Go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cd's and burn them. 'Cause you konw what? The musicians who've made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years... Real high on drugs."
