(1) The Butterfly Effect has built a reputation for being one of the most exciting and hard working live acts in Australia. Since February 2002 the band has toured Australia and Europe extensively knocking up over 800 national and international performances as a headlining act.
The Butterfly Effect has established a strong and continuously growing fan base and is constantly touring. The band have performed at all major rock festivals in Australia including Big Day Out, Homebake, Livid and Falls Festival sharing the stage with such acts as Metallica, Muse, The Strokes, System of a Down, Oasis, Tool, My Chemical Romance and The Killers.
Since then, The Butterfly Effect have experienced much. Their sophomore album “Imago” (produced in L.A. by Joe Barresi) attained the 2 position on the Australian charts in 2006 and was their second gold record after the success of 2003’s “Begins Here.”
In May 08 they embraced self-imposed solitude in the sanctuary of NSW’s Grove Studios with producer Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Full Scale) and recorded their third LP titled “Final Conversation of Kings”.
The album was released on Saturday 20th September 08 and debuted at number 3 on the ARIA charts.
