Biography
The 3rd Key was a 4-piece metal band from Bliss, New York consisting of John Lathigee (Guitar), Zack Lathigee (Drums), Jim Gillis (Vocals) and Tyler Tones (Bass & Vocals). Originally formed as Malicious Intent in 2005, they later changed their name to The 3rd Key before the release of a demo entitled Dining With Death. In 2010 they released the Deeds Of Death EP. Their first full length album, An Education In Malice, was released later on 2010 and was the first recording with new members Alex and Jim.
Their music took an influence from genres such as thrash metal, metalcore, and death metal.
