Biography

Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Tamara has been performing since a young age. After high school Tamara moved to New York City where she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Since then, Tamara has studied with cabaret legen Helen Baldassare at The New School University and with the Professional Jazz Division at the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music. There she majored in Voice and performed with various ensembles from gospel to traditional jazz bands (some of which she even enjoyed playing the sax in!)

Tamara has performed in many events and shows in her home town of Vancouver and in New York - the 'Shiva's Divas' show at Crush Champagne Lounge, as well as a series of charity concerts called 'Stripped' and 'Fashion Rocks Vancouver'. You also may have heard her singing the Title track to the hit television show on Showcase 'Show Me Yours', where her songs 'Sweetest Thing' and 'Empty Room' were featured as well. 'Pushin My Buttons' and 'All My Ladies' was also featured on Godivas on Bravo and CityTV. She is also the voice and co-writer of theme song for "The Guard" as well internationally successful television drama, "Blood Ties".
