Splendora was an band formed in New York, USA in the early ’90s.

The all-female lineup consisted of Janet Wygal (vocals, guitar), Tricia Wygal (vocals, bass), Delissa Santos (drums), Cindy Brolsma (cello) and Jennifer Richardson (violin).

Their first and only album is titled In the Grass and was released by Koch Records in 1995.

In 1997 MTV’s producer Susie Lynn, found a copy of their CD on her desk and then asked them to produce some demos; out of the four, she chose “You’re Standing on My Neck” as theme song for the animated television series “Daria”.
