Iconic romantic soul-pop from the Sixties and Seventies. Saw Smokey solo in Austin, wished he'd had the Miracles with him, but no worries, it was a great show.

Smokey is a lyrical genius. He has one of the smoothest falsetto's in music and the Miracles provide some of the best vocals. They are just as smooth as Smokey in the background. Claudette Robinson provides a important softness to the background harmonies. Just perfect especially on "Here I Go Again".

Much Better Off should be in the top 5. Probably would be if it weren't for the 30 versions of the same song, haha
