Fimbulwinter is amazing! As a Finn/Swede myself I am very proud of what northern bands have produced since the 80's. Nordic/Scandinavian metal might very well be the best there is, all metal sub-genres included. No one else can make particularly death and black metal as good as European northmen.

Waste can be recycled . Shit can turn manure. But the audible noise produced by Satanic Warmaster serves no purpose

If English isn't your first language, or maybe you are just thick, then maybe you should just STFU. I never said SW's last release was Pop Black Metal. I was quoting others in any statements about that. I was just comparing Beherit's "Engram" and Archgoat's "The Apocalyptic Triumphator" chart positions to that of "Fimbulwinter" to prove that the latter charted lower down than the others in their respective weeks. You can draw your own conclusions from that & I have drawn mine.

@ Trash73 ..I am sure were wolf could give a damn less what you think about his band, he did a split w Clandestine Blaze, released a few good bm albums and wait, did he actually produce the last TWO Archgoat albums...maybe you should learn to shut the fuck up , and does not sound too pop to me ( and also ...what has you're musical output been exactly?? :)

v Why does it matter if "Engram" was a stereotypical release or not? I was talking about non "poppy/plastic" BM albums that have entered at similar positions to "Fimbulwinter" in the overall top album charts for Finland - Engram peaked at 10. What is underground anymore anyway? There are many out there who say there is no underground music thanks to the Internet and those who say SW is going Pop Black Metal with a plastic sound then more fool them. I don't see a bigger market for "Pop Black Metal" than I do "Raw Black Metal" and bands like Dimmu Borgir and Emperor were the exception rather than the rule.

"Archgoat being 6th at the Finnish charts only means one thing: theres a really big metal following in Finland" >>> Incorrect. Archgoat play a particularly savage, raw form of Black Metal. This caters towards the Black Metal audience, obviously in Finland (and other Scandinavian countries) in particular. Archgoat's form of music is the stereotypical niche in the Black Metal market, and a fairly popular one at that - Beherit's last album also charted in Finland. Going against that niche, as people are implying with a Pop/plastic sound, is a reverse pop mentality to that particular market.

Archgoat being 6th at the Finnish charts only means one thing: theres a really big metal following in Finland, showcasing the good taste of Finns. In the Netherlands, something like Archgoat would probably not even ben in a top thousand chart.

While I do not subscribe to NS ideologies, I do find it to be idiotic that the ones who are all about tolerance, are not tolerant themselves. Fuck them, intolerance will make the strong only stronger. Good luck with the gig!

Exactly, I find it illogical for people to expect me not to change, as my previous works will still stand as they are for all time.
