Satanic Warmaster (now in his self-titled band), Gorthaur, Moredhel (formed Battlelore), Skratt, Vrasjarn (Profetus), A.T.Otava, Ravenum (Hammer), Saturnus (Totalselfhatred), Corvus (Totalselfhatred).
Thy sinister werewolf kult of Horna was born in 1993 by Shatraug and Moredhel in Finland (Lappeenranta, South Karelia). The hammer of uncreation, Gorthaur, joined in 1994 and the first release “Varjoissa” was created in 1995. Joined by Satanic Warmaster (prior known as Nazgul) in 1996, Horna set out the course lead by “Hiidentorni” all the way upon the grim splendour of “Sudentaival”. In 2001 Satanic Warmaster was replaced by Corvus unveiling an entirely new era in our existence. In the summer of 2003 we found our lead guitarist Saturnus and the unholy trinity of Shatraug-Corvus-Saturnus was born, a revelation that clouded any previous settlements.

The new vocals are often too shouted and lack the raw raspy growly goodness [2] I also feel that the better riffs are buried under the mix.

Ouch, the scene-rip really hurts my ears, the constant high hiss is extremely annoying. And yes, I know I shouldn't complain about a free download but is this supposed to be there?

New album is good, better than what the samples were. Maybe the main complain could be the guitar sound. It could have more edge, more punch... There are some very tasty riffs but they get buried in the messy mix.
