The album is totally based on Rupert's life experiences so far and that of his friends and family. It’s all about friendships and growing up, love, jealousy, betrayal and loss as well as the happier side of life. Stories which everyone can relate to and find their own interpretation of. He didn’t want to be abstract or complicated and just wanted to be honest and find a connection with people through his music. Rupert had a great time recording with producer Will Jackson who is an inspiration and a very friendly laid back human being. "Will encouraged me to push myself vocally and let myself go in the studio. I wrote all the songs on my album and I sing vocals and play guitar on all the tracks." Will produced the Pigeon Detectives debut album and he has also worked with Embrace, The Sugars and The Cribs to name a few.
"Rupert Road" is available to download through all major online stores world wide including iTunes,amazon.com,Napster.com,7digital,Emusic and many more…
