The best Pink Floyd album ever.

This is probably Floyd's most musically interesting album, and as someone who loves Orwell's "Animal Farm" and despises capitalism, I really love the lyrics as well.

Awesome record. "Dogs" is my second favorite Floyd track after the epic "Echoes". It has some of Gilmour's best guitar work ever. The other songs are amazing too and I like the overall dark atmosphere around this one. It's not my favorite Floyd record though; I still prefer Wish You Were Here, Meddle, Dark Side and their debut but it's still amazing.

"Dogs" is in fact my choice for best Floyd song. Great lyrics, great vocals, great lyrics, great guitar... just a stunning piece of music. As good as it is, though, it doesn't overshadow the rest of the record, all of which is excellent. This has long been my favorite Pink Floyd album and it probably makes my top 10 of all time.

'Dogs' and 'Pigs' are close to be called best songs in their career. Except, of course, 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond'., which simply stays number one.
