Never knew he's Sean Penn's brother, how weird. Anyway I've been in love with "No Myth" since I was a kid listening to it in the car with my mom. Picked up the album again a few days ago!

True story: way back in the mid-'90s, I made a mix of Michael Penn's songs alternating with Aimee Mann's, before I had any idea that they knew each other/would tour together/were engaged, because their songs just seemed to fit so well next to each other. You're probably going to call me a liar, and I probably would too, and there's no way I can prove otherwise. Point is, it's fun to try, if you're so inclined. All hail the happy couple and their mutually wonderful songs.
