Matt Monro (December 1, 1930 (or 1932, say some sources) - February 7, 1985) was a ballad singer of the 1960s and one of great international postwar entertainers.   • You would think Matt would have more plays since he did songs for two very popular films, 'From Russia with Love,' and 'The Italian Job,' which is repeated on TV pretty much every week! I would have hoped that these would have influenced people to have checked out more of his songs.
