“Both Ways” is a moody R&B track that serves as the tenth track on Liam’s debut album "LP1". The song explains how Liam’s significant other is bisexual and enjoys a three-way sex situation with another woman. Liam later goes on to explain how what turns her on turns him on as well, and that he will do anything to give her sexual pleasure.
The song wasn’t released until Liam’s debut album’s release date on December 6, 2019, but Liam did release a snippet of the song in January 2016 on Instagram.
Liam received some backlash to the song over allegations that the lyrics fetishize female bisexuality.
