Skredder (2:56)
From Trådnøsting
This is one of the very first songs Kråkesølv wrote together. The different parts of the song were supposedly written by Fredrik Olsen and Thomas Litangen during rehearsal with Trondheim artist Silje Halstensen. Before Kristoffer Unstad wrote the self pitying lyrics, the song was known as “Kald postmann/Varm SiljeH. fra Bergen”, referring to the aforementioned Halstensen and Cold Mailman. “Skredder” bears a strong resemblance to the Cold Mailman tune “True Love Does Exist” in a subtle way.
Nagel delivers back-up vocals on the outro of the song. “Skredder” is Norwegian for “tailor”.
In June 2010, the video for the song, directed by Thor Erling Brenne and featuring Kari Skotnes Vikjord, won an award for best music video at the short film festival in Grimstad, Norway.
