"Happy" is a song by American singer-songwriter Kesha from her fifth studio album, Gag Order (2023). It was released with the album on May 19, 2023 and is the 13th track on the record. An official lyric video was released the same day. The song was written and produced by Kesha and Rick Rubin. The track features Oberon Zell, an 80-year-old wizard she met while making her podcast “Kesha and the Creepies”
Lyrically, the song describes the difference between Kesha's wishes as a child and her wishes now. As a child, Kesha dreamed of being a pop star, essentially where she is now. Though, this dream turned out to be slightly a nightmare and all she wants now is to be happy.
