Little rock history: Before the recordings of their third album, "By the Way," the musicians agreed on a number of joint projects, but went on to have their own obituary printed in "Musik Express" in autumn 1972: "After three LPs, two singles and countless shows at home and abroad, Frumpy departed from this life at the age of almost three. Musical differences were the cause of death. Inga Rumpf, Jean-Jacques Kravetz and Karl-Heinz Schott will return soon in another name." This announcement was followed by action soon afterwards: Rumpf, Schott and Kravetz formed [artist]Atlantis[/artist], together with German miracle drummer Curt Cress, and the renowned guitarist Frank Diez.

La voz única de Inga Rumpf es la esencia misma del rock. Se la ha comparado con Janis Joplin, pero yo diría que su forma de cantar es tan excelente como la del mismísimo Jimi Hendrix, porque consigue expresar todo el carisma humano que solo el rock traduce y descubre. Kravetz, por su parte, es un talento inagotable y sorprendente que nos comunica con cada nota de su teclado la autenticidad del rock como lenguaje artístico. El guitarrista Baumann posee el virtuosismo y la sensibilidad más altas con los que dotar a sus solos de una expresividad genial. La sección de ritmo es brutal y perfecta. En resumen, una maravilla.
