Deception Of A Ghost was a metalcore/post-hardcore band from Hickory/Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.
From the very heart of North Carolina is a group of individuals that possess the passion needed to grow in the music industry today. The six musicians creating Deception Of A Ghost have come together to show the world positive, heart-felt music for the ears of their listeners. Since 2008 Deception Of A Ghost have been working diligently to bring forward a sound that resembles only themselves. They have captured something different, heavy, and yet progressive to fill the minds of everyone who wishes to hear what they have to say. That being only a positive and enlightening message hoping to give words of encouragement to their fans. With three guitarists Deception Of A Ghost carries a thick, unique tone like no other.
The guys have landed themselves a home at the newly founded Bullet Tooth Records and are ready to begin touring the US non-stop to promote their new and innovative sound known as Deception Of A Ghost
They first released a self-titled EP in late 2008. Later their first full length album "Speak Up, You're Not Alone" hit stores August 24th, 2010. A cover single of the song "Firework" in 2011. Their last full length album "Life Right Now" hit stores September 25th, 2012.
