Biography

Singer, songwriter, producer, and all around musician 24 yr old Dallas Blocker. Although born in Dallas, TX was raised in Houston TX’s Northside neighborhoods and began singing at the young age of seven in his dads church. Some say he’s the typical “PK” (preachers kid) but there’s nothing typical about this kid at all.

Dallas has had the opportunity to work with some of the industries best; including Dino Connor (H-town r.i.p.) Mathew Knowles (member of group Mason Rd) Brian Michael Cox (member of group Dirty Rose) as well as almost any of your favorite Houston rappers. Including Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Trae the Truth, Lil Flip and Mike Jones to name a few. It was the 2006 radio smash “After The Club” (Freakshow) written and performed by Dallas, HAWK (r.i.p) and Mista Madd of KBXX that drew attention from record executives Charles Chavez, Avery and Monte Lipman of Universal Republic Records.

This would allow Dallas to enter into a recording deal with them. During this time, Dallas has managed to build his fan base by releasing “Thugs Cry” (available on iTunes and all phone carriers) as well as a feature on “For the Hood” with Rick Ross and Rob G. After a year under contract and voluntary release from the label, Dallas is stepping out and taking things into his own hands with his company Blockerboy Music LLC. Be on the lookout for Dallas Blocker!
