It was composed by Crows’ lead guitarist Dan Vickery and frontman Adam Duritz, with Adam writing the lyrics. Duritz reportedly preferred having this song or When I Dream Of Michelangelo as the lead single for the album, as he felt these songs represented the album better thematically.
