Not to repeat it too much, but they're completely right! First time I heard it I sat & slagged it off the whole time because ''it's no august & everything after''. But it really is amazing too, when you listen to it properly!

"If you gave up on this after only a couple listens, try again! " totally second that

I didn't like it on the first listen either, but I do like it more now, maybe a little more than Hard Candy. Still, neither is even close to the level of their 90s albums

This album doesn't get any credit :(. I didn't like it on my first listened and kind of abandoned it for half a year, but then I tried it again and I think it's incredible. If you gave up on this after only a couple listens, try again!

This album really pisses me off. When I heard that Counting Crows was back, I was expecting an album that would expand upon the novel expressionism of This Desert Life and Hard Candy, which was phenomenal, but this is just disturbingly generic. Way to ruin a great thing guys.

The references to past songs/ablums are plentiful. A magical album to say the least. A must for any long time Crows fan~
