Biography
Born Gold’s debut LP Bodysongs, which arrived September 20th, 2011 on Hovercraft / Crash Symbols, is a selected singles compilation of uncompromising and infectious danceable pop anthems.
In the live context, Born Gold’s percolating pop is transformed into something like an ecstatic, surreal, and unsettling dream sequence: bandmates confront the audience in masks, smash shovels together, percuss on hockey helmets and generally get a party started unlike any other.
Born Gold runs with Canada’s shadowy coven Hovercraft (Purity Ring, Kuhrye-oo).

nah, little sleepwalker definitely blows. it's like an even shittier version of purity ring, from what I recall. With that being said, I still love Bodysongs.

The only way I can understand a person hating Little Sleepwalker is if they went into it expecting an album exactly the same as Body Songs, honestly I'm actually preferring Sleepwalker so far. Loving how much Cecil is able to switch up his sounds whilst remaining consistently enjoyable to listen to :)

It's darker, it's has his signature tunes, it's different and a great new chapter. So glad 'That Way' is included.

I was underwhelmed by the new album at first, but it very quickly grew on me. I think it is fantastic and I am excited to see where this artist goes. Little Sleepwalker isnt Bodysongs and it isnt meant to be.
