Halo (4:20)

Halo is the 3rd single from Beyoncé’s 3rd studio album: “I Am… Sasha Fierce”. The song was written by Ryan Tedder , E. Kidd Bogart and Beyoncé. It’s the 2nd song from the “I Am…” disc. The song has received very good reviews and it’s considered one of Beyoncé’s best ballads.

According to the Halo Songfacts, the song was originally earmarked for Leona Lewis. However she was unable to find the time to record the song so it was passed to Beyoncé.

Beyoncé scored her 14th solo UK hit single in March 2009 with ‘Halo’. The superstar diva the brought her “I Am…” tour to the UK in May following a string of European dates and in June started her American tour at New York City’s Madison Square Gardens, with a special guest appearance from hubby Jay-Z.
