Östersund, Sweden (1999 – present)
1) Aeon is a death metal band that formed in Östersund, Sweden in 1999 by vocalist Tommy Dahlström, guitarist Sebastian Nilsson, bassist Johan Hjelm and drummer Arttu Malkki of the newly broken up band Defaced Creation, in order to proceed with a more modern style of death metal.
The band has so far released one EP in 2001 entitled “Dark Order”, and three full length studio albums: “Bleeding the False” in 2005, “Rise To Dominate” in 2007 and “Path of Fire” in 2010. Their lyrical themes are based on strong anti-Christian beliefs, particularly anti-Jehovah’s Witnesses. They are currently signed to Metal Blade Records.
In November of 2012 Aeon released their most recent album entitled “Aeon’s Black”.
