"Somebody Like You" is a southern rock song by .38 Special. It was the second single from the band's 1986 album 'Strength in Numbers'. "Heart's on Fire" was the preceding single, also released that same year. The song proved a hit. It reached the #6 spot on the Mainstream Rock chart as well as the #48 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. It has since been featured in greatest hits albums from the band.
