Hironobu Kageyama — Kageyama Hironobu, February 18th 1961). Kageyama got his big break at age 16, as lead singer of the band called Lazy (in early years group’s style was pop/pop-rock but later they turned into… hard rock!). By the early ’80s, the band split and Kageyama went solo. He found major success once he started to sing the theme songs of anime and tokusatsu shows, arguably most famously, the Dragonball Z series and nearly all the video games that followed after which were capable of a FMV introduction and an accompanying theme song. Becoming immensely popular soon after, Kageyama went on to be dubbed the “Prince of Anime/Tokusatsu Songs” and is a main fixture for shows to this day. He is the founding member and leader of the popular vocal group JAM Project.
