Still got post Glastonbury blues... and welly burn on my newly muscular calves. Pretty pissed off at myself for getting so drunk sunday night I pretty much couldn't move from my tent. Still, I was close enough to hear The Streets at John Peel... Highlights for me were probably Pulp and Wu Tang Clan... And as ever, West Holts managed to introduce some previously unheard gems to my musical radar.

Queens of the Stone Age were a phenomenal closing act - the best I've seen them! Other highlights were Coldplay, Pulp (Jarvis' audience chats in between songs were hilarious), U2, Radiohead, Biffy, Warpaint, The Pierces, Jimmy Eat World... basically it was my first time at the festival and I loved it!

Gonna have to say biggest disappointment to be Radiohead. Don't get me wrong it was good, but firstly I would much rather see them doing a headline slot and I think it's unfair both to people who missed them and those who would've bought tickets if they knew they were headlining (many of my friends fall into the latter category). Beyond that the crowd didn't seem to know any of The King of Limbs and the sound wasn't very good, and although I love the album a few more back catalogue songs would've been nice. Radiohead and Pulp as special guests on such a small stage is such a mad idea I think Emily screwed up on this quite a bit and I hope it doesn't mean Radiohead won't return for many years as they're due a Pyramid slot in my opinion.

I literally sprinted through that mud from BB King to Bright Eyes, fearing I'd missed the start. Arrived and two minutes later they came on stage and broke into Gold Mine Gutted (my favourite Bright Eyes song).

I LOVED Bright Eyes. Conor was a much more confident performer than the last time I saw him and they played enough of the back catalogue to keep fans happy.
