Post-Metal, Sludge Metal, Sludge Doom - I love hearing the names of the crazy sub-genres of music that's still mysterious to me! :) Yeah, vol.1 is definitely your prizewinning pumpkin, but I enjoy vol.2 as well. Yndi Halda was a bit of a highlight actually, especially as I'm often wary of very long tracks.

Bah! Rumbled! And very well it went too on this cold 'n' sunny Glasgow Sunday. There I was, thinking it would be full of awkward noiseniks, but it was very restful and lovely. Marvellous! But then I needed to listen to some Scando-pop straight afterwards.. ;-)

Well, I've installed scripts so I can reply to shouts from the comfort of my own shoutbox, and something that colours people's names if they're online ('cos I'm a big fat web stalker, obviously). Oh, and I appeared to have totally filled your shoutbox with nonsense! Hooray!

And not that you asked, but I'm currently Simply Red. I used to Paint it Black, but then it went back and I forgot to change it. By way of a (sort-of) coincidence, Simply Red split up this week, so there is some hope for the human race. One of Britain's foremost actresses was once sick in Mick Hucknall's hair in the back of a taxi, you know. Hopefully that contributed to their downfall.

No I didn't but I am going to investigate now. I don't run Greasemonkey at all, actually. And yes, I'd use Safari a lot more if it had a web developer extension. Silly Safari.

Battles was phenomenal. They are, by far, the most downright awesome band of the century. They can pretty much accomplish anything, and watching John Stanier drown is jeans in sweat is mesmerizing. Perfect performance, only slightly surpassed by [artist]!!![/artist] in April.
