I saw it in a local cinema – the ugandan bagpipe band got a few giggles from the Glaswegian crowd.

Aw how nice! I seem to be lost in Silent Hill 2, which I dug out on Halloween night. The Ligeti I was playing was very appropriate but just too unnerving to go with it in the end!

Well as I mentioned to O_A, I hope that's not my opinion after I've fully digested the album. Because I tend not to listen to one artist for very long, that might take a while to fully appreciate it :-)

Well now Christmas is over I'm starting work on a massive gardening brochure which will be keeping me busy for the next three months. And after sitting in a meeting looking at page after depressing page of sheds and shingle, the fine design work around here really stood out! :-P

Oh those weeklies! But we do have the new 3/6/12 months charts to play with. Most people here just call it Bonfire Night or Fireworks Night. As for my music project, every time I listen to Cookie Mountain it seems to be a completely different album, which is confusing! And yes, you must have copied that whole folder that time! :)

I've actually been better. Tuesday the external drive I keep all my music on fell over on my desk and began the click of death. I've been working since then to try to salvage as much as I can but it's not going very well. Menomena was phenomenal!! Really Really great show. Hopefully they will make it your way. Don Cab's music was good, but the drummer's dialog between songs really annoyed me.

It's the X-Factor, our Saturday night guilty pleasure on the telly. Think American Idol (Simon Cowell leads the judges and Sharon Osbourne is in the Paula Abdul role of turning up drunk every week), except they allow older contestants and groups as well. Thanks for the extra music!

you did but the same shout came through twice in slightly different variations. I bought Young Team a decade ago, it's definitely not the kind of music where one could say 'oh, that's so late nineties' y'know. Still so potent. I've been enjoying some minimal stuff myself, The Field's from here we go sublime... is well, sublime. I hate to sound cliched and lazy but i really do love it. try it!
