There are two bands named Plainfield. 1.) American noise rock band formed by Smelly Mustafa in 1990. They released two LP's on Crippled Dick Hot Wax! and about a dozen of split 7inches with artists like Melt-Banana, Melvins, Oxbow, Ted Bundy's Volkswagon and Jello Biafra. - http://www.myspace.com/theplainfield
2.) Is a British Indie group formed in Bolton, U.K. in 1994. They have recently recorded their first full album called Lifetime Achievement Award.
