I dig what, and who the Arctic Monkeys became. They were always ready for the stage they are playing now, it just took some time. Sadly, they are simply too big too play any clubs anymore. I missed my moment! As for the Tom Waits bio I stayed away from it as Tom had nothing to do with it, and probably half of the information in there is probably just folklore.

Hey dude, read your post on the queens shoutbox. Glad I'm not the only one with this "paranoia". If i had to choose a favorite band it would be qotsa. I loved every Queens song I ever heard from the first moment since I discovered them in 2009, but the new album just didn't fit to the queens I loved and knew. Everyone is crazy about the new album, even people that know them much long than i do. I just dont get it, the new stuff couldn't even convince me (compared to the old) live. I mean it's not a BAD album after all, but somehow that feels even worse than an album that completly sucks, maybe because one could think it was a one-time "mistake" or something like that. So, what I wanted to say is: you are not the only one with this feeling

That is awesome man. I would love to see Japandroids one day, but I keep missing them. Much like the arctic monkeys. I had the chance to see the arctic monkeys at a small club in 06' but i was too broke at the time, and will always feel like that was my shot to see them, because they blew the fuck up here in the states after that tour. I'll for sure check out Red Fang and Garlic Kings later!!! As for anything memorable like you had with those shows. I once partied with Andrew W.K. on stage and it was very awesome.

Yes, I have seen Tom Waits live, and it was one of the best shows I have ever been to. I think it was 2008-2009 on the PESCAJUMBA tour, or whatever he recorded for the Glitter and Doom tour. My girlfriend and I have decided that if he ever tours again we could care less about the cost JUST TAKE OUR MONEY. As of late, saw Reggie and the Full Effect and they were a lot of fun. New Found Glory and Green Day are always awesome to see as well. What are some of the best bands you have seen?

I have not man. I watched the like clockwork concerts, and I passed. The last time I wanted to see them was on lullabies or Era. This era, youtube is fine. What about you?

For sure, I think ....Like Clockwork sounds like such a one off album. I have a feeling the grooves are coming back! At least their worst album isn't bad at all!

Well, I think you should buy their record Bright Companions, like I did (their first record Vanity I downloaded for free from their website I believe, can't remember), but because it's you I put their both albums on WeTransfer. Send me your e-mailadress and you are a gifted man ;) Did you heard them on YouTube or something???

Hahaha, you're crazy :D I like that. But, Sziget? I'd rather go to Rock for People (http://rockforpeople.com/line-up/artists/) again, a four day festival in Hradec Kralové, Czech Republic. I went this year and it was amazing. A friend who was with us said it was better than Sziget. I believe him, also because there are too many Dutch people there. It's too popular here in The Netherlands. And overall I think it's too crowded and too long (a fucking week, lying in your own dirt! ;)) So, if you and your gf come over to RfP, maybe I'll be there ;)

Yeah sort of :) "aardkloot" means "world" or "earth" and "hommel" means "bumblebee". "Kloothommel" is indeed "motherfucker" or "asshole". It's not literally you know ;) If you would translate "motherfucker" literally into Dutch it would say "moederneuker" actually, but that makes no sense ;). Btw, "klootzak" (literally "globe/world/earthbag") means "asshole" too. The plural form of "kloot", "kloten", means balls btw. So it makes sense somehow. ;) You're welcome ;)

Yup, that's me. I hate almost all pic's where I'm on, this one was alright I thought. Thank you for your kindness :) It was taken right before my interview with Will And The People btw. My voice was totally gone :P Check the video here if you like: http://www.jimmyalter.nl/2013/06/17/video-interview-will-and-the-people-pinkpop-2013/

hi there :) well, I'm probably not the best qualified person for this question, seeing as I haven't gone through their whole discography yet, but I'd definitely recommend "Magic Christian Music" which contains the amazing songs Carry on Till Tomorrow and Come and Get It (the album is the soundtrack of "Magic Christian", a comedy starring Peter Sellers and Ringo Starr, which I recommend as well :)). Straight Up, the album Baby Blue was taken from, is also very good and it can be found in full on youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_TPS86BipU. enjoy! :)

Personally I fell especially in love with ...Like Clockwork and now I appreciate their older work even more, each album is so different from the other... I love all their albums in their own way. Sad that they only played once in Russia. Actually, I saw them the second time in Czech Republic, not in The Netherlands :P It was a-mazing. Maybe I can make you happy with this video, shot a couple of days ago in London: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cY4u8eSVRto&hd=1 I didn't even watch it myself, but a friend gave me the link saying it is f***ing good. Sorry for the F-word. And yeah, I love Them Crooked Vultures too, didn't listened much yet unfortunately. Enjoy the concert ;)

Yeah, but it wasn't untill this year I saw them finally. They are in such a good form right now, and I love ...Like Clockwork so much, so I had to see them. Both were festival shows (1 hour), now I really need to see an arena show, haha. They don't play in Russia in the near future?

Hi!! Well, i would start with Midnight Boom, it's there most "catchy" one. Also there last record is good to start, because it units a lot of the stuff from the previous records. If you're more into the garage rock thing you also can start with the first two ones. I hope i could help and it's great that you want to start listen to them, they are amazing. :)
