Check! Nothing alike indeed. But to be honest, my llibrary is shared with serveral people so there is music in there that is not really my taste. But we both like TOOL. Anyways...I love all kind of music but something that is completely different might be an album like "Calypso: Musical Poetry In The Caribbean 1955-69" funny lyrics and basic simple sounds. Anything LoFi/Instrumental Hip-Hop for backgroung wile working (to many albums to name). Being a metal and Hard-rock fan i also started listening to Jazz, never thought that i would like it. Old school funk/rock when the mood is right ( Mother Finest, great live band). Primus (sailing the seas of cheese). David Lindley (El Rayo-X). I dunno... there so much to be heard outside mainstream. Sometimes google the band you listen to what inspired them to make music.

Ratings are not important... If you feel happy to the music you're listening to then so be it. Anyone's other opinion doesn't matter. Regarding taste, well... on Antartica everything tastes cold to be honest. But is generally i like your taste, it's different... maybe in time you'll find that there a many more tastes be (re)discoverd. I myself would never think that one day I would like Jazz or Lo-fi
