Cd's and occasional lp's go unscrobbled yet in the format of full albums. Much frequent circulation goes unnoticed by last.fm because of such hard copies. Disembodied musics passed on to the digital realm are listened to mostly at work, following whims and sometimes (but not always) shallow fads, but definitely more on the basis of songs/pieces.
Web 2.0 is a lie, tagging will not save us from the Human Condition.
