Yeah, a cold freezin night is their best new one. i also really liked group autogenics & we bought the flood. disappointed they didn't do beautiful people though, cause that would have been epic.

definitely. it'll be interesting to see how much of their signature voice samples they use, as it's only nick singing in beautiful people

Hey - apologies for the intrusion, but thought you might be interested in this gig (from previous Stars of the Lids attendance in Leeds!) - http://www.last.fm/event/1385302+Tim+Hecker+at+St+Margaret+of+Antioch+on+21+May+2010

I must say that Roedelius has had a lot of different "phases". Piano Piano and Variety of Moods are one phase where he was using more piano than anything. His first 5-6 albums have more krautrock elements. In the mid 90s he released more abstract stuff like "Theatre Works", "La Nordica" and "Sinfonia Contempora No. 1" for example.

Mmmmh its hard to say since all of Roedelius's albums have their appeal, though some of his benchmark albums are among these.... Wenn Der Sudwind Weht, Selbstportrait 1 & 2, Lustwandel, Piano Piano, Jardin au Fou... but I have to say that all of his albums are a few very nice tracks, I uploaded all of my roedelius albums on what.cd...
