If we all liked the same music the world would be pretty boring, IMO.
I'm too random a person to like one type of music. I wouldn't want to, either.
Just because you don't like a certain type of music, or band doesn't make their fans any less of a person then you are.
Sometimes I only like one song by a band. It happens. Don't make a big deal out of it.
Music doesn't have age limits. I like everything from 1930 - today. No one is too old or too young to be enjoying a certain artist.
Music gets me through my day. It helps calm me, put me to sleep, get through the work day, entertain me on the bus. Music does not define who I am. I don't dress a certain way because it's 'rock n roll' or 'emo'.
I won't not accept your friend request just because "OMG HE DOESN'T LIKE _____!!" Even if we have one band in common, I think that's enough. I'm always looking to further expand my music horizons. If you have a suggestion send away. However there are certain things I'm not a fan of and would rather not get.
Nickleback like bands. Nothing against their fans its just not my thing.
Techno. (House, Trance and anything else related)
Most rap, however there are exceptions on that.
'Death' 'Black' 'Doom' Metal, however you know it by. I am not entertained by men who need a shower singing about consuming dead fetuses. Thanks anyways ..
