Thanks for the info. I meant to check out the link you sent, but then forgot all about it, hence the late reply. It looks really interesting, so I've signed up : ) Thanks again.

Hey, Thanks very much for the mixtape. I liked it a lot, especially the songs by Prince and The Rolling Stones. Also made me realize I should explore more by Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. Btw what's the chicago mixtape fundraiser on your events list?

I was a little intrigued by the opportunity to answer your questions, as it were, but admittedly committing to two mixes in a month is even crazier than the one I barely have time for. We'll skip the q/a's. Any of the remaining themes (or off-road action!) are fine by me, so no need to coordinate unless you just want to bobsey twin the whole thing. I trust your mixing prowess whichever way the wind takes you!

Hey, welcome back! Looks like we'll be November partners, so curious if you're interested in the Q/A theme or not. I'm game either way.

I bought ODDSAC yesterday! And I have to say, I'm almost afraid to watch it. Hope your internet gets fixed! We lost power on Saturday, and everyone just sat around and looked at each other. Suffice it to say, it sucked. Viva technology!

Hey there. Downloaded your picture mix, and man, it's great. I dunno why I never got around to purchasing/watching "ODDSAC," but your mix inspired me. Thanks again: great stuff.

hey hey mixpartnerr =) I just finished compiling tracks for my mix for you, but the whole turns out to be more melancholic rather than a cheerful summer mix which was my original intend lol, but I think you'll like it ^^' I'll pm you the download link soon enough, ! cheers~

Well I wasn't so keen on the Major Lazer track in the end. I particularly liked the Jurassic 5 and Basement Jaxx tracks. Two artists I really like, but I hadn't heard those tracks. Again, the Animal Collective track was a favourite. I'll be sure to look up that album. Cheers for the tape and sorry for the late feedback. I'm so disorganised. Until next time....

I was pleased to be able to fit in the Chuck E. Weiss track after our recent discussion. The Loose Joints track is one of my all time favourites, and the Chase & Status album has been playing non stop on my iPod for over a month now. That's one of the middle of the road tracks as well. I knew you'd go for Par-T-One. The vocal sample is INXS, I believe. Looking forward to getting your mixtape on first thing in the morning. I'm keen to hear the Major Lazer track as I've read good things about them in the press this week.

Dude, check this: http://www.[spam] BBC radio station over here for Urban music had a week celebrating 30 years of Hip-Hop. This is a 60 minute mix of 538 classic tracks mixed up by a UK DJ called JaguarSkills. I think you'll like it. Mixtape update: I'm so into Animal Collective now, and my Dad compiled me a Tom Waits CD as he's a massive fan. I'm loving Filipino Box Spring Hog, which I see you've put on your current mixtape. There's also a track on the CD called 'Do You Know What I Idi Amin' by [artist]Chuck E. Weiss[/artist] that I think Tom Waits co-wrote. It's insane. Check it out if you don't know it.

Mate, I loved the mixtape. I'd been meaning to get hold of that dead prez track for a while now. The Nextmen do an amazing mash-up of that with 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder' on a couple of their CDs. I love that track. I also really enjoyed the tracks by Deadelus, The Field, Animal Collective, Dinosaur Jr., David Bowie and Tom Waits. There wasn't actually anything on the mixtape that I hated, [which is impressive considering the number of tracks] although I still can't get into Bruce Springsteen now matter how hard I try. The Cold War Kids song on my mixtape was the song that first got me into them. I'm glad you liked The Prodigy track. The new album is awesome [as they all are], and that's my favourite track from it.

Howdy mixtape buddy! I see you should have the King Crimson covered, so I'll avoid them!
