hey Bill! it's Malcom from arrange and I figured I'd give you a shout about my Kickstarter to fund the release of my upcoming Mini-LP New Memory. I hope you'll take a look and consider spreading the word. It would mean so much to me. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1262217745/help-get-arranges-new-mini-lp-new-memory-to-vinyl

"Bento..." is beyond cognitive abilities at this point. Have ya heard Off!? Hardcore Keith Morris at the extreme end of fun! Shit, how I hat this town. Kudos for escaping to murder-city USA twenty-ten. That's just fucking EVIL! Hail the STL!!! :-D

at the creepy crawl? i was there - my first time seeing them after discovering "rebels, rogues" on some random "best of" list awhile back (then i picked up the back catalog mostly through emusic). it was beautiful, all crunchy guitars and the gravelly voiced lyrics in a massive sing along with all the fans up front. i'm a sucker for the whole drive-by/two cow country angst thing to begin with. one thing i love about the new the hold steady is hearing ben nichols voice singing back up in so many songs -- "magazine and daddy issues, i know you're still pissed.."
