Be the first on your block to join my very newest group: [group]Immortal Rock Vocalists[/group]. The connections are based on two rock lists at www.digitaldreamdoor.com: Top 100 Male Vocalists & Top 100 Female Vocalists. The connections are complete: the radio is still under construction. Place note that you will hear some non-rock on the radio, because this is based on vocalists who may cross over into gospel, soul, funk, pop, and country. The connections are individual artists, but the radio will include any bands or groups they are associated with: in many cases the band is better known than the singer. The lists are the opinion of the authors and are sure to inspire discussion and dissent. Good! Bring your opinions and your own lists and jump into the fray!

Hey man thanks for the compliment on my "Bufotenin" music project. I haven't messed around on FL Studio in awhile now, but i just re downloaded it and am gonna start back up. All the stuff done as "Bufotenin" was done on live record using the keyboard to play and mouse to manipulate and all songs were done in 1 take, no tweaking or going back. It was kinda an experiment so thats why it sounds pretty rough. Not sure what direction im gonna head next, i guess whatever comes out, comes out lol. Thanks again tho, was pretty excited to see ANYONE even listened to A single song lol.

I could learn a lot of you too ! In your "glitch/clicks and cut" library, you'll perhaps like the Robotron album of Signal (with Carsten Nicolai, Frank Bretschneider and Olaf Bender). I don't see any Mokira album (try the brilliant Cliphop). I don't see any Abstract Hip Hop matérial too. You could try Chris Clark's Empty Bones, Hecq's Bad Karma and in a more radical way the Deework's Underdev. As you've plenty of different influences... we could exchange ideas in further messages.

Very typical of my work about 2002, after I'd made certain breakthroughs, and before some other sophistications... a very spare pure fractal structure, wind the stem and let it go with no more tweaking... it also captures a melancholy which in one sense is an accident and in another sense not, in the way that evolution wanders into things randomly but then has the results winnowed and pointed in certain directions by natural selection... In the same way, my musical sensibilities resulted in my exploring some chains of modification in more detail than others, and branching and rebranching down other promising lines... I have a great affinity for wistful, brooding sounds, ala Angelo Badalamenti, Nino Rota, Sibelius, Grieg, Brahams, much Eastern European music, traditional Japanese, rootsy blues... dusk and autumnal sounds...
