Hey, good to hear. I should probably do what you do and list everything I enjoyed in the year, because honestly top 10 doesn't cover it. It's very hard to keep track of everything though! Nice charts man.

Gretings my friend, your list of the best albums of the year is pretty interesting, that was the reason to add you as my friends here, now i think that "Hertitage" is great but very diferent, the album will generate extreme opinions or you love it or hate it, the metal fans probably hate it, i mean this is an progresive/experimental rock album, and that´s what i think the band or Akerfeldt wanted, i liked but not as much as Watershed.. but i still think is one of the best albums of the year for sure, thanks for the shout dude ! stay in touch !

Hi Bjeer! Thanks for your visit & the flag. I see that you're part of the anti-hippie movement. I'm an old hippie from the 60s/70s - but, hey, to each his own! Best wishes from New Mexico... :-) ♡

Haha, to each their own. I just personally find that within each Opeth album, theres really no progression persay. I can tell whats going to happen next. But I do love Morningrise and Still Life.

Eh, it's just that I find Opeth meanders around too much not really progressing in their own sound, whereas Porcupine Tree always has someting to progress towards.

Thanks for the quick answer :) I will probably explorate the music of Antimatter if I have time. School and job surely doesn't help. Ageeing about Axioma Ethica Odini beeing a masterpiece and only parralled with Ihsahn After in the black/prog metal. Other "black metal"(whatever subgenre it could be) with honorable mentions for this year will be Watain new album, Lantlos' .neon, Twilight's Monument To Time End, Winterhorde's Underwatermoon, Dark Fortress' Ylem. New Rotting Christ or Keep of Kalessin are a little bit boring in my opinion.

Wonderful taste even if I disagree with the comment you made a long time ago about alcest. But who cares? Have you heard the new Enslaved album. Probably the best work they've done .Even if I doesn't have Antimatter in my library, care to explain which style of music they play. I've heard they play some kind of alt-rock, trip-hop hybrid? Sorry if I disturbed you.
